STANTON – The new garage at the Stanton Department of Public Works is near completion.
Work started in June on a new centralized DPW. The $299,000 project is set to be complete in November.
The new facility will be energy-efficient, will reduce fixed operational costs and will provide a safer working environment than the century-old DPW building, according to Stanton City Manager James Freed.
