NOTICE OF CHANGE
ATTENTION: Water/Sewer customers
The City has implemented a change to our ordinance regarding water shut offs due to non-payment. We hope this change serves our residents well and offers them more flexibility in the times where funds might be tight.
Water shut offs due to non-payment are now QUARTERLY on the 15th of February, May, August, and November. If you have a balance over 30 days old and greater than $20 your water may be disconnected on the mentioned dates.
WATER/SEWER BILLING IS STILL MONTHLY, AND PENALTIES WILL CONTINUE TO BE ASSESSED MONTHLY ON UNPAID BALANCES.
DOOR HANGERS have also STOPPED. The City will no longer be placing a notification on your door prior to shut offs. You will receive an ORANGE past due postcard when your balance is simply past due. If your account meets the criteria to be disconnected on the above dates, you will receive a RED shut off notice postcard. If you receive a RED postcard, that is your final notice.
