Did you know city of Stanton has an ordinance (Ordinance 192) that states, “Election and campaign signs shall be removed within forty-eight (48) hours of the election.” Residents are encouraged to contact the candidate if signs are not collected.
An election sign is any sign
- advertising or promoting a candidate in a federal, provincial or municipal election, including an election of a local board or commission, or
- intended to influence persons to vote for or against any candidate
Signs may be recycled at the Montcalm Recycling Center located at 615 N. State Street, Stanton, MI.
