In August, the Stanton City Commission unanimously approved hiring Edith Hunter to takeover as the next city assessor. Hunter has state of Michigan Advanced Assessing Officer (MAAO) level credentialing and a wealth of assessing experience. Hunter will hold office hours at Stanton City Hall on Mondays only, from 8AM to 10AM.

City Hall has autographed baseballs available for a $10 minimum donation! Baseballs are autographed by retired Detroit Tigers player, Dave Rozema. Rozema was a member of the 84′ World Series team and is also a native of Grand Rapids! All proceeds go directly to our new Veteran’s Park.
