We are so excited to have broken ground and begun the development of the Stanton Veterans Memorial Park. This project will be accomplished in multiple phases and will have many features in the end, including new baseball fields, a disc golf course, a trail connecting to the Heartland Trail, a play area for children, and as the name suggests, a memorial for our veterans who have bravely served in the armed forces.
As excited as we are to develop this facility for our local community and surrounding areas to enjoy, it will only be possible with your generous contributions. Along the way, we will have many options for donations or volunteer projects. Stay tuned to this page of our website as more opportunities for philanthropy are announced.
Buy-a-Brick Fundraiser for Veterans Memorial Monument
We are paving the way for the monument at Veterans Memorial Park! This is your opportunity to contribute to this exciting addition to the City of Stanton with the purchase of a custom engraved paver brick.
These bricks will lay at ground level within the quarter circle formed by the layout of the monuments, as pictured in the illustrated site plan.
Your brick(s) may honor your family, commemorate a veteran or current service member, or even simply thank others for their service.
An online option has been created for the convenience of purchasing engraved bricks by credit card. However, if you wish to pay with cash or check, a printable order form is also available.
