PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission of the City of Stanton will hold a public hearing on August 25, 2020, at or after 7:00 p.m. at the regular meeting of the Stanton City Commission on the application of Millard’s Furniture Store for the establishment of a Commercial Redevelopment District under the provisions of Act 255 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1978, as amended (“Act 255”) for new construction at 232 W Main Street and 212 Main Street within the City and commonly identified as: parcels 59-053-113-001-00 & 59-053-112-002-00. Following the public hearing, the City Commission may consider a resolution to establish the requested commercial redevelopment district under the terms of Act 255.
All interested persons may attend the public hearing and comment on the requested establishment of the commercial redevelopment district. Written comments may be submitted to the City office, to the attention of the City Clerk or City Manager, at the above-stated address.
