Stanton, Michigan – At the November 13 meeting of the Stanton City Commission, oaths of office were administered to Mayor Lori Williams and commission members Jane Basom, Vladimir Edelman, Ray Holloway, and Mary Thomas. Voters can still get absentee ballots and Stanton’s city clerk will be available from 9 a.m. to at least 2 p.m. Saturday to accommodate people who want to pick up or drop off absentee ballots. Completed absentee ballots must be received by the clerk no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day.
